British Retail Consortium. An enemy of English business?

Chris, Maria, Drew and Debs at the Why England needs a Parliament blog think they know who’s responsible for the trend in Britishising English produce. None other than the British Retail Consortium.

They could well be right.

    I know they have a board member from the Scottish Retail Consortium, but I don’t think it’s them (well, not on their own).

    I understand there has been some,differences of views re British Consortium & the British National Farmers Union,(there is no English,but yes there a scottish nfu! so England is stuck with british)there seems to be some dispute between, again with the farming community & the superficial supermarkets,of quality of products,packaging, etc.. Liberal MP Andrew George has had his say of course he is a supporter of a cornish assembly,independence etc,has a strong conection with farmers in the South West,Mainly Cornwall,his const St Ives, Would it not be a idea for FFC & its contributers to write to The British NFU & even Andrew George,if only to get some recognition,& points of view across.

    Listening today at very early time, Radio Four on Farming at 5-45am, which is my alarm call,to get up !anyway, i was laying there hearing a debate, with some lady interviewing,& a guy from the Enemy, “The British Retail Consortium” on the very subject of Flagging ! Items fom countries near & far,The Question was Chickens from Thailand were being Packaged in England,stamped with a British Flag, put on the shop shelf for selling purposes !as the genuine the item ! Our Man from the BRC could just not see the Deception,would not see,the Lie,& then,after being cross examined,by our interviewer,several times, categoricaly denied the BRC have had any, corrospondence, regarding customers,wanting flags on fresh meat & food displayed,with bthe COUNTRY of ORIGIN ! The man was a bare face lier,& typical of (some) people who run our Institutions,YET AGAIN a Disgrace To Democracy,a Disgrace to England, The Majority Nation ! treated so appallingly ! We all Need To Write & lobby BRC(i notice DairyCrest are complaining there sales are down,)what a shame!
