Dear Sirs,
I would just like to point out that your logo has the Union flag within
the outline of the English the fruit you promote.
The correct flag for English produce and England is the Cross of St
George.
Yours faithfully.

Dear
Thank you for your note. England is part of the Union. We wish to be as
inclusive as possible and therefore we are pleased to use the Union Jack
which has wide consumer recognition. Thank you for writing to me.
Regards
Adrian Barlow

I got the same reply, a polite chap but not aware or not interested in the plight of Engliscness or indeed England itself. Seems willing to be a part of the EuroBrit plan to abolish all forms of Englisc identity.
Please use the flag of ST George for English goods!
The Welsh use theirs and Scotland theirs you should promote England. Your previous comments are PC nonsense!
Cheers Steve
I had a very similar reply when I contacted them a couple of years ago.
Might be worth another go. You never know – we might get through to them one day.
Does it really matter lads.
We all know St George was an Iranian or something like that.
The Red Cross is very intimidating and warlike to people overseas.
England itself used to be divided into seperate kingdoms.
I think it is probably better if the St Georges cross was hidden in the union flag. Saves any trouble.
Cheers.

Maybe St George was Iranian, and Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem in what is now Palestine. So what?
To many millions around the world the Union Flag represents occupation and subjugation. The Saltire is very intimidating to those who were the target of the Klu Klux clan, but it’s allowed on Scottish produce.
I think it’s better if the English were afforded equal treatment with the Scots, and the English flag was allowed on English produce.
The difference with this belief is that I don’t want to suppress the Scots and hide their flag back into the Union flag.
I have contacted various supermarkets on this issue a number of times all fobbing me off. It is nice to see M&S milk wit the St Georges Flag on it, they looked lovely in th efridge tuther day at their store. Dairy Crest are avdertising ‘west country’ milk with union jack, I have emailed and asked why not the CoSG,no reply yet.
Scotland was not always united as “Scotland” either, Hamish. Saves any trouble not displaying the St George’s flag? What a horribly arrogant view! Oh – and St George wasn’t English? St Andrew wasn’t Scottish either. What’s it matter?
I’m having trouble sending an E-mail to these people. can anyone do this for me?

Hello there, I have noticed that your Website logo has the Union Flag filling up the images of an Apple and Pear, this is of great confusion to me as your Web address and title clearly states ‘English’ apples and pears, I feel it is my duty to tell you that your logo designer made a terrible mistake, by having the union flag on the logo people get the impression that your Apples and Pears originate from areas outside of England as well as within, this of course would be highly embarrassing as it could very well conflict with the False advertising Law of Photo manipulation.
I personally would reccomend that you change the logo picture to a the flag of England (thats the Cross of Saint George) or changing the company name to British instead.
Yours Sincerly
George Ireland.
